This view shows motor and battery pack This little motor will push the bike to 20mph and will turn the 1/4 mile in 44sec flat, with a 200lb rider not pedaling! The bike has a range of up to 20 miles on a single charge with pedaling and will go over 10 miles on level ground without pedaling! Not shown is a tiny 24 volt 2 amp battery charger that will charge a depleted battery in about four hours. Great for the ten mile rides to the mall in Valencia where they have charging stations. |

Right side view Note: Blue bike has an intermedite drive, this has the effect of adding ten teeth to the front chain ring. Or you could say it has seven overdrives. The bike can deliver pedal power to the rear wheel at over 35mph at normal pedaling speeds. The Red Rebike has normal 18 speed gearing and medium pressure tires. This limits top speed, but the bike is still very fast and easy to ride, handles well and unlike most recumbents it climbs hills like a mad dog, with the help of the motor. |

The Seat was made of 3/4 inch plywood on the bottom and 1/4 inch on the back. It was padded with a up to three layers of light weight backpacking pad and covered with genuine 501 Levies. This construction method is strong and very light. The seat and the whole bike for that matter is very comfortable. |
