Part 3 of an ongoing series

Actually here was what i saw in the Supra Meet last Sept.15-17

The weekend was a blast I saw tons of Supra's from mk3's and mk4's running at the Las Vegas Speedway.. And I saw some domestics run too so it was a good mix of domestics and imports..I especially liked the red firebird that ran a 7.87...and i love the two black mk4 supra's that wa running in the mid 10's.... the powerhouse supra was dope too with it's integrated turbo scoop... Ok here goes my little excerpt of my weekend in vegas..

We as in me my friends steve, dennis, rollie and charlie got there at the Speedway a little bit too late, we got there around 8:00p.m. For some weird reason the traffic from L.A. to vegas was pretty bad so we got stuck in traffic half of the way going there... When we did arrive there i find out that the digital camera that i borrowed wasn't working right out of the ton's of pictures i took only a small amount came out.. I promise next time I'll try to bring a working camera.

1.

1.    Here is the only picture that came out during my time at the races.. Both  Mk3's are turbo's but the white one was going for the sleeper look with the detached turbo emblem and wing... I forgot who won the race but i remember the white mk3 spinning his way out of the box. The people at the race were very friendly the guy in the white mk3 was from vegas and he only got the car registered like three days before the meet. SO mucho props to him. I forgot his name sorri.....

2. One of the more interesting Mk3's at the meet, Sorry for the blurry pictures, i had to use my old crappy digital camera. It seems like it wasn't even worth using the damn old thing. The blue mk3 was running the japan spec 1JZGTE twin turbo 2.5 liter motor... Wow wish i had it.. There was also a white mk3 with the 1JZGTE, but the blue one was more spruced up... THe car was rolling with the old school work equip wheels.. man i wish i had a set of those... It also had a full bomex kit too.

3. Here is the a shot of the Japan Spec 1Jzgte... look at the twin turbos makes me wanna salivate..yum yum.. more power! Also look at the Japan spec HKS carbon fiber strutbar.. must be hella expensive right? your betcha.. Okay since we have a car here that has the 1Jzgte when are we gonna see the 1GTEU motor in a MK III?

4.

4. A nice clean Black MK3, not shure if it was a turbo or N/A... But still it looks hella nice.

5.

5. Here is a pic of a nice clean mk3 engine bay. look at the custom made intake pipe.. Man i wish i had one of those... THat is one clean engine bay..hey maybe u can eat off it too...

6.

6. Here is a shot of one fully polished engine bay... tons of polished and chrome metals... look at the custom pipe for the intake and intercooler, hey even the strut bar is polished.. hehehe

7.

7. Here is a nother engine bay of a MK$4 (hahah the dollar sign means that u gotta have a lot of  $ to own a mkiv) NIce mixture of red paint in the bay .. look for  the custom air box and the HKS SSQ(If u have a turbo, u don't have to ask me what it means).

Well that ends my small feature of the Supra Meet in Vegas. I wish i was able to show you people more pictures but my good digital camera broke, and the pictures i got from the old digital camera came out like shit.. so I hope you guys like the few pictures that i have posted up.. I wasn't able to go to the dyno runs on sunday, hence no pictures for that event.. peace and have fun..
