'Aren't you slave?' asked one of the men nearby, a Warrior, looking closely. Elizabeth slapped him rather hard and he staggered back, 'No, I am not, she informed him." Assassin of Gor page 74.
"Any woman who relishes a compliment is in her heart a slave girl. She wants to please." Beasts of Gor page 17
How startled I had been when she had said that. I had turned away. She had looked into my eyes, in that instant, not as a slave into the eyes of a free woman, but as one woman into the eyes of another. I had felt then, in that instant, that we were both, ultimately, only women, that we were identical in our femaleness, that we were united in the bonds of a common sisterhood and what, in relationship to men, it entailed. We were both, ultimately, only women; we were both, ultimately, though I was free and she was a slave, representatives of the slave sex." Kajira of Gor pages 162-3
"I shall be restored to the honors of the Ubara!' she said. "No," I said. "You are now a slave. A slave cannot be Ubara. You can do no more now than pretend to be the Ubara. In a sense you will be an imposter. And let us hope that no one detects your deception, for, as you know, the penalties for a slave masquerading as a free woman are quite severe." Magicians of Gor page 481
Also, of course, slaves generally have some value, at least to the master, even if not much. They, at least, can be bought and sold. Who would want to risk one in such a foolish manner? Free women, on the other hand, being priceless, have for most practical purposes no value whatsoever." Players of Gor page 228-9
Vika dropped her head. "Every woman in her heart," said Vika, "wants to wear the chains of a man." This seemed to me quite doubtful. Vika looked up and smiled. "Of course," she said, "we would like to choose the man." This seemed to me only a bit less doubtful. "I would choose you, Cabot," she said. "Women wish to be free," I told her. "Yes," she said, "we also wish to be free." She smiled. "In every woman," she said, "there is something of the Free Companion and something of the Slave Girl." Priest Kings of Gor page 204
A free woman is inordinately precious. She is a thousand times, and more, above a mere slave." Players of Gor page 92
Your assertion might be construed as meaning that you had committed some treason against yourself, or, perhaps, as meaning merely that you had revealed, or manifested, yourself. Let us consider, first, the matter of treason. A free woman might, possibly, feel that she had betrayed herself, in this sense, if she had so yielded to a man as to supply him with some perhaps subtle hint as to the latency of her slave reflexes.

A slave girl, on the other hand, cannot commit treason against herself in this sense, for she is a slave. To commit this type of treason one must have a right, say, to deceive others as to one's sensuality, to conceal one's sexuality, and so on. The slave girl, an owned animal, under the command of her master, does not have this sort of right. Indeed, she has no rights. Accordingly, she cannot commit this sort of treason. Her legal status precludes its possibility. She may, of course, rationally, fear the consequences of her responsiveness being discovered, thus increasing, perhaps to her terror, in a slave culture, her desirability. Similarly she may lie, or attempt to lie, about her responsiveness, but she is then, of course, merely a lying slave and, when found out, will be treated accordingly" "Such treason, then," she said, "can be committed only by a free woman." "Yes," I said.
"It is a luxury not permitted to the slave." "It is a function only of the free woman's right to lie, and defraud others?" she asked. "Yes," I said." Savages of Gor page 189-90

"It was not necessary that you treated Susan as you did," I said. "Do not attempt to interfere in the relationship between a man and his slave," he said. "That relationship is absolute." "I see," I said. I stepped back, frightened."  Kajira of Gor page 172
"I am a free woman," she said. "Do you find slaves more interesting than I?" "Of course," I said. "Why?" she asked. "For one thing," I said, "they are owned." "That makes them fascinating, doesn't it?" she said, bitterly. "Yes," I said. "And doubtless," she said angrily, "they do not have the inhibitions and frigidities of their free sisters!" "They are not permitted them," I admitted."  Rogue of Gor page 151
"There seem to be two major reasons why free women are seldom raped on Gor. first, it is thought that they, being free, are to be accorded the highest respect, and secondly, slave females are regarded as being much more desirable." Guardsman of Gor page 184
Sexual heat, it might be mentioned, is looked upon in free women with mixed feelings; it is commanded, however, in a slave girl. Passion, it is thought, deprives the free woman to some extent of her freedom and self-control; it is frowned upon because it makes her behave, to some extent, like a degraded female slave; free women, thus, to protect their honor and dignity, their freedom and personhood, their individuality, must fight passion; the slave girl, of course, is not entitled to this privilege; it is denied to her, both by her society and her Master; while the free woman must remain cool and in control of herself, even in the arms of her companion, to avoid being truly "had",
the slave girl is permitted to no such luxury; her control is in the hands of her Master, and she must, upon the mere word of her Master, surrender herself, writhing, to the humiliating heats of a degraded slave-girl's ecstasy. Only when a woman is owned can she be fully enjoyed." Tribesmen of Gor page 17
"'There is a difference' laughed Hassan, 'between the pride of a free woman and the pride of the slave girl. The pride of a free woman is the pride of a woman who feels herself to be the equal of a man. The pride of the slave girl is the pride of the girl who knows that no other woman is the equal of herself.'" Tribesmen of Gor pages 332-3
When free women and slave girls are chained together, it is common to respect the distinction between them by chaining them somewhat differently; in this case the free girl's hands were braceleted before her body, the slave's were fastened below her right leg; it is common for the slave to be placed under greater restraint, and more discomfort, than her free sister; this acknowledges the greater nobility of the free woman, and is a courtesy often extended to her until she, too, is only a slave" Tribesman of Gor page 147
"'But a free woman is a thousand times more valuable than a slave!' she said. 'Many,' said I, 'regard a slave as a thousand times more valuable than a free woman.' It interested me that she had put a specific value on a free woman. 'But then,' I said, 'many also believe that the free woman and the slave are the same, except for a legal technicality.' 'Free women are only slaves, not yet collared,' I said." Vagabonds of Gor pages 192-3
"The free woman," I said, "lies down and waits to see what will happen. The female slave kneels beside her master, and begs to please him. The free woman deems it sufficient that she should exist, the slave girl, on the other hand, is expected not only to exist, but to excel; indeed, she fears only, commonly, that she may not be sufficiently marvelous for her master. It is little wonder that most men find the free woman, in her inertness, her ignorance and arrogance, boring. It is little wonder that most men prefer to order her rival to their furs, the helpless, collared, curvaceous, lascivious, feminine slave." Savages of Gor page 197

The Goreans claim that in each woman there is a free companion, proud and beautiful, worthy and noble, and in each, too, a slave girl. The companion seeks for her companion; the slave girl for her master. It is further said, that on the couch, the Gorean girl, whether slave or free, who has had the experience, who has tried all loves, begs for a master. She wishes to belong completely to a man, withholding nothing, permitted to withhold nothing. And, of course, of all women, only a slave girl can truly belong to a man, only a slave girl can truly be his, in all ways, utterly, totally, completely, his, selflessly, at his mercy, his ecstatic slave, helpless and joyous in the total submission which she is given no choice but to yield." Relationship between FW & female slaves
"Disgusting!" said the free woman, on the tharlarion, in the hunting costume. I rolled over and looked up. The blond girl, by my side, the slave, cried out with misery, and dared not meet the eyes of her
free sister. "Greetings," I said. "Do not permit me to interfere with your pleasures," she said coolly. The slave girl whimpered and put her head down. How shamed she was before the freedom and grandeur of the free woman. "Have you found your sport slave yet?" I inquired. "No, she said. "But he is quite near." "I have not been paying much attention," I said. "You have been otherwise engaged," she said loftily. I wondered at the hatred which free women seen to bear at their imbonded sisters. The hatred, incidentally, is almost never directed at the master, but almost always at the slave. Do they envy the slaves their collars." Beasts of Gor page 122-3
"Slave girls, Mistress?" I asked. "Yes," she said. "They are stinking, meaningless, lascivious little sluts who have been as slaves in the arms of Gorean men. It has spoiled them for freedom. They are worthless, sensuous little beasts whose passions Gorean men have seen fit, as cruel masters, to ignite. Their sexuality, their shamelessness, their needs, their helplessness, makes them an insult to free women." Fighting Slave of Gor page 63.
Near the free woman was a female slave, in a short gray tunic...She had knelt with her head down to the street, the palms of her hands on the stones, making herself small, in a common position of obeisance. She kept her knees tightly together before the free woman. Had she knelt before a man she would probably have had to keep them open, even if they were brutally kicked apart, a lesson to her, to be more sensitive as to before whom she knelt.  Magicians of Gor page 18
"Sometimes I feel sorry for slaves, mere slaves," I said. "Do not," he said. "Why not?" I asked. "As you suggest," he said, "they are merely slaves." "Of course," I said bitterly. "Does Lady Sheila identify with slaves?" he asked. "No," I said. "Of course not!" "Good," he said. "Why is it good," I asked. "It is said," he said, "that she who identifies with slaves wants the collar on her own neck." "No!" I cried. "It is only a saying," he said. "It is another such saying that she who identifies with slaves is a slave." Kajira of Gor page 121

I have, more than once, I believe, alluded to the hatred of the free woman to their imbonded sisters, and to how they profess to despise them and hold them in contempt. Indeed, they commonly treat such slaves with what seems to be irrational and unwonted cruelty. This is particularly the case if the slave is beautiful and of great interest to men. I have also suggested that the attitude of the free male toward the slave seems to be motivated, paradoxically enough, by envy and jealousy. Magicians of Gor page 51
Then she cried out to me. "Run, Judy." "Fetch help!"
"Do not." said the man.
"Yes, Master," I said. I looked at the Lady Elicia. "Forgive me, Mistress," I said. "I am a slave girl who has been commanded by a man." I knelt to one side. Slave Girl of Gor page 392
The slave girls groveled at her feet. Slave girls fear free women muchly. It is almost as if there were some unspoken war between them, almost as if they might be mortal enemies. In such a war, or such an enmity, of course, the slave girl is completely at the mercy of the free person; she is only salve. One of the great fears of a slave girl is that she will be sold to a woman. Free women treat their female slaves with incredible hatred and cruelty. Why this is I do not know. Some say it is because they, the free women, envy the girls their collars and wish that they, too, were collared, and at the complete mercy of masters. Marauders of Gor
Once in Ar.. several free women, in anger at slaves, and perhaps jealous of the pleasures of masters and slaves, entered a paga tavern with clubs and axes, seeking to destroy it.. The men in the taverns, being Gorean, and thus not be inhibited or confused by negativistic, antibiological traditions, quickly disarmed the women. They then stripped them, bound their hands behind their back, put them on a neck rope, and, by means of switches, conducted them swiftly outside the tavern. The women then, outside the tavern, on the bridge of twenty lanterns, forced to witness the burning of their garments. Magicians of Gor page 51
For some reason free women hate female slaves. They are often quite cruel even to those whom they themselves own. Perhaps they hate the slave for her beauty, for her joy, for her truth, her perfections, her desirability, her happiness. At the root of their hatred, perhaps lies their own unhappiness and lack of fulfillment, their envy of the slave, joyful in her right of nature. Magicians of Gor page 197
It is a hard thing for a girl to belong to a woman. Slave Girl of Gor page 359
One thing is certain, and that is that there is a deep, psychological hostility on the part of the free woman for her sister in bondage, particularly if she be beautiful. Slave girls, accordingly, fear free
women; slave girls want to be locked in the collars of men, not women. Slave Girl of Gor page 292
One of the women did come up beside the wagon with a switch and struck Feiqa in fury three times.... I wondered if the former rich young woman of Samnium had herself, in bygone days, accorded slaves similar treatment. I supposed so. It is not uncommon on the part of free women....In these attacks, of course, Feiqa was in no danger of being seriously injured, or disfigured or maimed. Accordingly, I did not take any official notice of them." Mercenaries of Gor page 29
Relationship between a Free Woman and the male slave
"Any free woman who couches with another's slave, or readies herself to couch with another's slave, becomes herself a slave, and the slave of the slave's master. It is a clear law.. Think of it in this fashion, if you wish. You have given yourself to Milo, but Milo is mine, and can own nothing, and thus you have given yourself to me. An analogy is the coin given by a free person to a street girl, which coin, of course, does not then belong to the girl but to her master. What is given to the slave is given to the master." Magicians of Gor page 7
I wondered what she might look like in a collar. I knew, of course, what she looked like naked, for I was her silk slave. Free women think as little of concealing their bodies from their silk slaves as the women of Earth would before their pet dogs. Fighting Slave if Gor page 180
