I was asked to write about what being a Mistress is and was all about. I’ll tell you it is far from all fun and games. Sometimes you will be yelled at simply for being a woman or thinking about something. Sometimes you’ll have to serve when there aren’t slaves around. And sometimes, you’ll get the very short end of the stick. FW are but one small step above slaves, though the books claim that they are treasures worth 1,000 times more then a slave, it is hardly what is shown in Gor.

FW can not Fur in the open, they can not be sexual or show interest in it. FW can not show ‘flesh’ in avis, they can not be loud mouthed or talk like a sports player. FW are expected to be kind, quiet, gracious and motherly. FW are expected to be smart and intelligent and while permitted some outspokenness if that offends a Male you could right quick be at the end of a quiva or in a collar.

FW have a weapon that is sometimes sharper that even that of a sword and that is their wits and tongue. FW need to know how to talk themselves out of any situation, how to handle matters of the house when a Free Male isn’t around as well as deal with the slaves and even sometimes the books. Free Women can also expect a lot of time alone, remember Free men aren’t here to entertain you, and couching with another’s slave is a collarable offense.

Free men wont often pay attention to a Free Woman and in fact I have seen many who grow reclusive and shy from the fear of a collar. It is often hard to draw the line where things are safe and where they aren’t and if uncertain don’t do it.

I am a FW, I speak from experience. I am often alone in a room, as finding escorts to travel is hard. I don’t talk often anymore, because I am worried my words might offend a Free male. Having slaves has been even hard as showing the proper affection without being of risk of a collar has been a headache, but even for all this emptyness, I would not trade My Freedom. I love my life and those that I try to help and know someday there will be peace for Me.
