We are located 45 minutes from the Mississippi River in Northeast Iowa, where the hills and flatlands meet.   Surrounded by prime hunting grounds and plentiful trout streams.  Turkey River offers guided/semi-guided hunts and when there is not a open hunting season, WE FISH.  The Mississippi River offers great angler action and some of the best ice fishing in the Midwest.  The local streams are well maintained and stocked with Brook, Brown, and Rainbow Trout.  Our guides are well qualified and dedicated to showing you the Best Iowa Experience possible whether it be hunting or fishing.  We are licensed, bonded, and insured.

More often than not, the turkey's harvested from the Turkey River area weigh in over 20 pounds.   It's common to look over the hillside and see 30 to 40 turkeys.

Already seeing an increase in natural upland bird populations from the unfortunate luck of the past 2 years.  Reserve your hunt for Upland Birds soon because the excitement is growing for the comeback season of 2002.

Accommodations
Turkey River Outfitting now has a 2100 sq. ft. lodge with a large fireplace, restrooms, showers, and kitchen. The lodge is located on over 80 acres and also has a riverside campground accessible for canoeing, tubing, and fishing. Our lodge is in the heart of Northeast Iowa's best hunting for Whitetail and Turkey.

NEW ZEALAND
Everyone's paradise.  Game is abundant in New Zealand with no natural predators.  You will hunt the North and South Islands, but be prepared for the ride of your life.  Helicopter is the only way to maneuver the rugged terrain. An adreniline rush at it's best. Trips are planned year-round.  Please contact me for specifics.
