From the INAFA Convention information page featured in Voice Of The Wind, the INAFA's official publication:
INAFA is pleased to announce our first convention to be held at Kent State University. It is here that INAFA's archives are housed. Having the first convention at KSU is important so that everyone has a chance to look through the INAFA archive holdings.
Convention Fees:
$20.00 Attendance Fee (Per Person) - This assumes you will make your own arrangements for food, parking, and lodging. If you need a parking pass, it is $3.00.

There are two airports close to Kent State University - Cleveland Hopkins International and Akron/Canton Airport. The latter airport may be less expensive to fly into, since it is smaller. Directions from the airports to Kent will be mailed in your final convention package.
Call for Proposals:
INAFA is still accepting proposals for performances, lectures, recitals, workshops, discussion sessions, etc. for the convention.
Volunteers:
Yes, it is the volunteers that make the world go around! Of course, INAFA will need volunteers in preparing for the convention, as well as at the convention.
Attention Flute Makers:
INAFA invites any interested flute makers to create and donate and extra "special" flute as the Grand Prize in the convention raffle. Attendees will receive one free entry into the drawing(s). Additional tickets are $5 each. Tickets may be purchased in advance.
