| The Military Order of the Turtles Hut - 36 Was established in the 1960's with a goal of providing "CHEERFUL SERVICE TO OUR HOSPITALIZED VETERANS" Our Motto is "COMRADSHIP AND HUMOR" Over the years the Turtles have provided Veterans with the necessities to make their stay in the Veterans Hospital a much better experience. In 2003 the Military Order of the Turtles was the sponsor of the Vietnam Veterans memorial "The Moving Wall" hosted at West Hills College Campus Lemoore, California. The wall is a 1/2 size traveling replica of the one in Washington D.C. inscribed with over 58,000 names of the United States service members who gave the ultimate sacrifice for their country. The Wall was on display from October 5th to October 11th of 2003. |
