TURTLELADY OF MICHIGAN
My family thought I was the only turtle nut in the world until I got on the web and proved there are thousands of us all over the place.
I've had turtles all of my life, but in 1990 I started to increase my collection & became known as the Turtlelady in my neighborhood.
I have a turtle pond & turtle garden in my back yard. The pond has sliders, painters & mud turtles. The garden has box & reeves turtles. I also have a large snapping turtle. He has his own pool & fenced area to wander around in. And I have two soft shell turtles which I keep indoors in a two foot long tank.
I started the Tortoise Shell Society in 1990 - a small club for turtle lovers. Ten years later we got on the web. We are new to the web as of Jan. 2000. The Tortoise Shell Society is for turtle nuts who love to turtle surf. We share stories,fables,legends, information, and laughs. If it looks like or acts like or seems like a turtle we want to hear about it.
