Modern Language Club

Tuslaw High School's Modern Language Club is for French and Spanish students.  Club dues are $4.00; exchange students receive FREE honorary membership.


The purpose of the club is to promote the importance of foreign language study through cultural activities.  The club provides a way for French and Spanish students to interact and provide support for the foreign language classrooms at Tuslaw.  We have about one event per month that members may choose to participate in.

Tuslaw High School offers four levels of Spanish.  The Spanish II, III, and IV teacher is Senora Fone..  One of the highlights of the Spanish program is the Cinco de Mayo celebrations.  Tuslaw students had a chance to visit Spain in 2008.
Tuslaw High also offers four years of French studies.  The French teacher is Madame Elsass.  The French students are introduced to many cultural elements of France and the Francophone countries.  Tuslaw students had the opportunity to visit France in in 2008.
