| Developing the 2006 Tustin Haunt |
| Early on, this year the team decided to go with a pirate theme for the Haunt. Though the new "Pirates of the Caribbean" movie has recently come out, it was not our intention when we were first thinking of creating this year's Haunt The Development process is really more about deciding what we want out of our haunt as far as rooms, or effects go. Currently ideas in development are the Pub/Entrance, Docks, Jungle, Cave/Exit. Since we have the basic idea of what areas we will be using, it it now our task to decide what props decoration we will be using. Currently I am harvesting up old glass bottles and have found some pewter mugs on ebay that we will be using in the pub. November 4, 2006 So Much for updating the development processs! It's after Halloween (which was a resounding success) and all planned areas came out as we planned. We even added a computer controlled pneumatic prop this year which is a HUGE leap forward in prop technology for us. We cannot wait to see what 2007 has in store for us. |
