April 2006 /   Spring is in the air.  Well, at least spring showers.  But really, I love this time of year.  Plenty of sunlight.  A bit of spring fever to warm up your blood.  You tend to enjoy what life has to offer now, in contrast to the New Year or Tet when you look forward and Christmas when you look back and take stock of your life.

I found another Thai Ta.  Now and then I Google and Yahoo! search my father's name, Ta Ky, Vo Vi, my name, my friends' names to see what'd I find.  Well, my father has a few webpages out there by fans of his poetry.  Though I must say there are typing errors, and for poems where words are crucial choices, it's a mixed feeling for me seeing them.  Unavoidable, I suppose.  Thanks, all the same.
There's a Dr.Thai Thuy Ta, who's a dentist in Southern California.  And there's a Thai Ta, who posts BEAUTIFUL (and I truly am impressed) photographs on www.photo.net.  I read his biography and also some comments about him and his comments on other works posted there to get a sense of who he is.  There are pictures of his daughter (I presume), his dog, his cat, his wife and himself maybe, but not big enough to see the faces.  I like the Canadian Rockies, Banff series.  Most of his works are of nature, kinda calendar-like.  However, a few really stand out as quality gallery/museum pieces of photography artworks.  So, if you like, check him out.

I wonder if any long lost loves would find me again with the use of the internet.  The world has never been so connected.  I wonder if I'd have new love(s)!!! by the internet, I mean.  I like living in the 21st century.  Everything is clearer, crispier, quicker.  Something is lost, I'm sure, in this laser-sharp, blink-of-the-eye, click-of-the-mouse new world.  But something is gained too.  Wouldn't you agree?
