November 2000.  I dreamed of a crowded Vo Vi gathering.  Holding court was a woman which I associated with God.  She was touching my lower back (kidneys), and after that I had to create a poem on the spot.  I offered her a 6-8 poem, which I couldn't recall after waking up, but the lines and even the process taken to create were so sharp and clear in my dream.  Could she be Cha Kim, a Vo Vi figure that has been said to have God's awareness?  Anyway, I rarely associate God as a woman.  Yet, in the dream, the goddess felt warm, witty, and wise.

January 2001.  A dream.  A Vo Vi gathering, again.  This time I was up in the balcony, looking down.  The Vo Vi people were engaged in an argument.  Then, I saw Mr. Tam, looking up at me, smiling.  It was the first time I felt he, too, was a student like the rest of us.  Silent.  Smart.  Lovely.  Young. Handsome.  He looked at me like we understood one another.  Ah, my brother!  I would do anything for you.

August 2002.  An unsettling dream.  I was exiting a room with Master Tam standing right at the door, (blocking me, it seemed).  So I gently brushed against his side and got out, leaving him alone to deal with the people inside the room.  Outside, in a huge, dark auditorium, the Vo Vi people were in an uproar.  People were rushing in opposite streams.  Discord.  Anger.  I tried to get out too.  On the way to the parking lot, (it was night time), I discovered I had lost the car key.  When I found it in my pocket somehow, I couldn't locate the car.  The dream ended.  It's a warning.  Of my lack of commitment.  Of our lack of unity, solidarity.  And of the mounting problems Mr. Tam will have to solve before leaving his earthly life.  (Sigh.)
