CATFISH, BULLHEAD AND ROUGH FISH REMAIN OPEN ALL YEAR.
WALLEYE, SAUGER AND NORTHERN PIKE SEASON OPENS MAY 12 2006 AND CLOSES FEB. 24 2008
MUSKELLUNGE OPENS JUNE 2, 2006 AND CLOSES FEB. 24, 2008
LARGEMOUTH AND SMALLMOUTH BASS (in our area) OPENS MAY 26, 2006 AND CLOSES FEB. 24, 2008 Except Smallmouth closes Sept. 10, 2007 on Mille Lacs.
FISHING REGULATIONS 2007:
WALLEYE: GENERAL REG. Possession limit 6 with not more than one over 24” per day
Walleye MILLE LACS REG: Possession limit of 4 with a protected slot of 20”through 28” and only one allowed over 28” per day. Must return to the water all Walleye 20 through 28”. with one over 28 inches. December 1st the walleye regulation changes back to spring reg of 20 to 28 protected.
NORTHERN
PIKE: GENERAL REG. Possession limit 3 with not more
than one over 30” taken
per day.
Northern Pike MILLE LACS REG. Possession limit 3 with a protected slot of 24” through 36” with only one allowed over 36’ per day. Must return to the water all Northern 24”through 36”.
LARGEMOUTH AND SMALLMOUTH BASS: GENERAL REG: (in our
Area)
Possession 6 smallmouth closes Sept 10. MILLE LACS Smallmouth reg: 21”
Minimum Length, Possession 1 (one)
MUSKELLUNGE: 40” Minimum length, Possession 1.
PERCH: Possession 40 with a daily limit of 20.
ROCK BASS: Possession limit 30
CRAPPIE: Possession 10.
SUNFISH/BLUEGILL: Possession 20.
