WHO'S BEHIND HILARITEES?
Gerty
Myrtle Maybel
These are indeed sad times for the creators of the once popular "Macarena" dance.  No longer even a roller skating rink song anymore, the dance now is only performed in senior citizen retirement homes.
Hilaritees is owned and operated by three widowed senior citizens: Myrtle, Maybel, and Gerty.  The three ladies are residents at MY TIME IS NIGH Retirement Center in Oakvale, Florida.  These three spunky misfits opted to create a lucrative humorous t-shirt business with their ideas generated over the years while they were nuns together at a convent in the hills of Arkansas.  Not coincidentally, the three were kicked out after the head sister discovered they had started an underground all nun wrestling night in the convent.  The three enjoyed their short lived fame wrestling with names like "Twisted Sister", "Nuns of Steel" and "Bar-Nun."  But alas, that all ended and the three went on to marry and lead "somewhat" normal lives.

When they're not at bingo, or having a Lawrence Welk re-run marathan, or doing the Macarena to impress the new male residents, the three sit in their rooms pretending to be deathly sick and come up with designs for Maybel's great grandson who processes the shirts.  In the words of Myrtle, "At least it gets us out of having to go on those stupid trips where they pick up garbage along the highway.  Adds Gerty, "Yes, and the best thing is it gets us out of having to sit in a circle and toss around that big inflatable beach ball while that ugly therapist lady smiles and says 'way to go!'.  I hate that game!"

Cheers to you lovely ladies---------keep us laughing with your shirts!!!!!!!!!!!!!
