In the beginning of the episode notice the excess netting around Barbara Eden’s waistline to hide her pregnancy.
Actor Henry Corden portrayed Jeannie’s father said this in 1998 “ I only did this one episode, which was surprising to me. since I played Jeannie’s father I suspected they would bring me back, but it didn’t happen. They needed some kind of Indian accent of sorts and I was happy to work with all of them.”
Note the wedding outfit Jeannie wears can be seen again in the second season episodes Always on Sunday and My Master, the Poor Civilian and later in the third, forth and fifth season it turns out to be Jeannie’s sister’s outfit who make her first appearance in the 3rd season episode Jeannie or the Tiger.
