SEASON 1

The Mighty Megalosaurus
In the first episode, we learn about the history of the family, of how they became civilized, and how the baby was born. The baby reminds me of Sweetpea, one of my best friends.

The Mating Dance
Fran feels like she’s in a rut and that she’s a drudge, so Earl takes the kids for a weekend while Fran goes to visit her mother.  Earl realizes that he is the problem and must think of a way to fix it. Listen for the gay voice in the bar that says: “We love you, big guy!” Also, the two humans they are trying to mate in the zoo are both men.

Hurling Day
There is a policy that says once someone reaches the age of 72, they shall be hurled into a tar pit. Fran’s mother turns 72 and this is the first episode we see her. Will she be hurled into a tar pit? Notice that when Earl’s boss shows Earl the video of him (the boss) tossing his (the boss’s)  mother-in-law off the cliff, it is a person, not a dinosaur. Ethyl (the grandmother) reminds me of Sophia from ‘The Golden Girls’ a bit. ‘Mr Ugh’ seems fun.

High Noon
Fran meets a dinosaur at the supermarket. Earl gets a letter that says Gary (the one that met Fran) has decided to fight Earl for her, which is legal. By the way: Gary is about 50 feet tall...

The Howling
Robbie becomes “of age” and is required to climb a mountain and give his mightiest howl at the moon. It is believed that the end of the world will occur if not every male does it when he becomes a grown-up (Pre-Howling Syndrome {PHS}). Robbie cannot howl and decides to rebel against tradition.
