In School and around Gefrees

The day started out over the town of Gefrees cold and cloudy again but that hasn't stopped our students from having an incredible time here. Temperatures have been in the high 50s to low 60s.	Our students are shadowing their partners at the Jacob Ellrod Schule in Gefrees. Here, German students are hard at work in math class correcting their tests.
Kelly looks on as a German student tries to solve a math problem on the board.	Kelly and Lindsay are finding the food here to their liking. They reported that the soup was very good. Kelly particularly liked the "Kartoffelpuffer" or potato pancakes they had after the soup.
Vanessa (left) points to another plate and asks Nathalie what kind of food is on it. Athough cautious about German food, our GAPPIES are finding lunch with their partners quite enjoyable and the food surprisingly good.	After lunch, students had an hour of free time so it was off for a walk in downtown Gefrees, only 5 minutes from the school, to look at shops and get a feel for the city.
Bianca (right), Nicoles' partner and her friend, Christine, enjoy a chocolate ice cream together at the local ice cream shop. Others of us had Capuccino on such a cold day.
