At the Theater and Some Partners

Four of our students were invited by their German partners to attend the play, "Cabaret" in the city of Hof. It was a special evening and we all dressed up for the occasion. Some of the students had never seen live theater before.	Cabaret, at least in the German version, tells the story of two couples who come together and whose lives are destroyed by the coming of the National Socialists to power. Here, a Jewish man sings of his new love to a German woman at their engagement party. The next day the woman tells him she can't marry him.
I've heard from the students that the parents want to see more pictures of the Americans with their German partners. Well here they are. Dave and his partner Ralf at the Museum of the Wall in Mödlenreuth.	Here is Nicole and her partner Andreas at the Welcome Evening.
