Objective
The Titusville Community Watch Program was
established as a means of assisting the citizens of Titusville, Florida and
the Titusville Police Department with community patrols, utilizing volunteer
members performing a civic service.
Community Watch members patrol residential neighborhoods, paying close
attention to suspicious and unusual activity and investigate already
occurred, non-violent crimes that are dispatched to them by the Police
Department. Thus, freeing sworn uniformed officers to concentrate
their efforts on more severe or crucial calls.
Qualification Requirements:

Have No Felony Convictions

Be of Good Health

Be of Good Moral Character
-
Be At Least
Eighteen (18) Years of Age

Be Willing to
Volunteer a Minimum of Eight (8) Hours Per Month to Assist the Citizens of
Titusville

Have on File a
Completed, Processed Application for the Community Watch Program

Successfully
Complete the Community Watch Training
-
Meet Any Other Requirements for Community Watch Members, as Dictated by
the Titusville Police Department
