The alumnus of this school have spread across the globe, and USA alone accounting to 20% of the strength.
The Lakshmi Old Students Association (LOSA) as it is fondly called is the only alumni body which is vibrant and active and is planning to have its chapters wherever possible. It will create a further sense of belonging and will help eveybody to serve the society better.
Founded by Dr.R.N.D.Sridhar, his foresight to form a body of alumni which would cater to the needs of the present and future alumni and effectively run by Mahesh"Seth" Chabbria, the foundation runs deep with the more involvement of the alumni. This is evident from various activities such as the Annual LOSA cultural statewide, only of its kind in Tamilnadu and associated sports, track and field events.
The alumni get to play a cricket match on the 15th August every year and also there is a demand to find a place in the school Team, which has produced people like Venkatramana, the only player from Madurai to play in the Test Level cricket. People like Mr.Bharat Krishna Shankar, who was the only student to finish 1st from his First Std to Charterd Accountancy Exam and Mr.R.Dinesh, the current Head of the TVS Sons , and himself a qualified Chartered Accountant.
This doesnot discount the numerous people who have excelled themselves in diverse & distinguished fields.
