Ingo Rademacher may not have any time to tune in to GENERAL HOSPITAL, where he played Jax ("I actually never really even watched it when I was on it," he confesses), but he recently spent a very significant day with one of his former cast members, Réal Andrews (Taggert). Both competed in the recent 2000 Nautica Malibu Triathlon which benefitted Pediatric AIDS, but only Rademacher is the proud owner of a gold medal, having been named the U.S. National Celebrity Triathlon Champion. He participated in both team competitions as well as an individual competing in all the races.
     He almost didn't compete as an individual until Andrews told him he was doing the whole shebang. When he found out, "I was thinking, 'Hmmm, I can probably beat him in the short distance sprint race.' I think Réal was surprised at how well I did, but we had great camaraderie for the day we spent together."
     Rademacher has now moved on to primetime on TITANS, but he and Andrews plan to work out together for the next year. "I'm sure a lot of people will hear about it and come next year to try to knock off the crown."
