Hercules has married the Golden Hind (Serena). In order to do this, both had to give up their powers to appease the gods. They live just outside a prejudicial town that really turns on him because of Strife framing Hercules. Hercules' friends (Iolaus, Xena, Gabrielle, and even Zeus) help him with his confusion and the mob. They defend him, care for him, and bring out the truth! (Has interesting parallels to the O.J. situation.)

"A Rock and a Hard Place" - another transcript of this: at Whoosh
Hercules struggles to deal honorably with a very self-centered, lying, whiney, thieving murder suspect who is slowly dying (but Hercules can't do anything to help) and who keeps sneeringly calling Hercules, "Hero". Meanwhile, Iolaus finds Cassus' son, Nico, a street youth who understandably wants nothing to do with his father. A very compelling episode!
