This bar in a small village was incongruously named the cowboy bar.
The cafe tasted
good though. Dire Straits " Brothers in Arms" playing in the background
- a little wierd
Outside the refugio for the night in Rabanal del Camino. Pilgrim's
washing on line.
A common sight along the Camino, though you normally see more socks!
Special "Peregrino"/Pilgrim wine at Rabanal at bar in refugio. We managed
to do some
damage to a few bottles with fellow peregrinos, Piet, Riet both from
Holland and Tom
from Belgium (see below). We used/subjected them to our Afrikaans -
they seemed
to undestand for the most part. Amazing after all these years!
Entrance to sleeping quarters at refugio, which was well laidout (bar/restaurant),
especially for a small village like Rabanal. Fairly short walking day,
21km. Got
to sit back and relax in the afternoon.
