Enzymes act as a catalyse for chemical reactions. That means that they're the reason the chemical reactions happen. Enzymes are nothing more but special protiens that break down other chemicals, Protiens, Ect. Enzymes do a lot for us. In industry the use of enzymes is becoming more popular because of all the time, money, and work saved by them. It is enzymes that make milk into cheese, turn malt into alcohol and are used in many important medicines. Due to the use of enzymes doctors now have medicines that can cause people to heal from their wounds and injurys fifty percent faster.
