Live! |
Well, in case you missed it (and lets face it probably everybody did!) tWeaK. made their live debut at The Fiddler's Elbow last night (Friday, April 27, 2001), supporting Acer. That was fair enough, but the band were given around 2 hours notice that they were playing, so had no time to panic or let anyone know about the event! Still, in a way it was good, 'cause none of us had any time to worry about what we were going to do. Soundcheck went fine, and even though the set list was sorted out very rapidly, it flowed reasonably well. We played six songs in the following order: 1. Learn Again 2. Butterfly 3. Millionaire 4. Devils & Angels 5. Long Way (introduced as the evil song!) 6. Control The gig went OK as debuts go, apart from Neil partaking in a ton of pre-gig Lambrusco (he's a real hard man!), the occasional stick snapping/being dropped and a faulty in-socket on Andy's bass. Other than that, no probs. Crowd reaction was good (apparently), so a big thankyou for not booing us to anyone who was there, and thanks to Acer for the loan of some of their equipment. (Check out Acer at www.acerworld.com). Also thanks to the people who spoke to us afterwards and said they enjoyed it, too. We will try and get some pictures from the night on here when/if we get some! If you were at the gig, we would really appreciate some feedback. Let us know what you thought of the songs/set list/our talents(!!!!) either in the guest book, or by emailing us at tweakarama@yahoo.co.uk Cheers! |
