--I have spoken at the annual Belleville Diocesan Youth Conference in March 2003

--I have spoken at the 2003 "Break the Cycle" Event--a nationwide poverty awareness event.
--I am curently attending SLU through the generousity of the St Katharine Drexel Minority Teaching Scholarship sponsored by the Diocese of Belleviille, IL.
