Episode: "Day 4: 2:00 P.M. - 3:00 P.M."
Original Air Date: 7 February 2005
Episode Synopsis: Jack and Audrey hide out with an embittered Tony as
Audrey makes a positive ID of the man from the kidnapping, Henry
Powell; Marianne successfully diverts suspicion from herself, lead-
ing Driscoll to torture the wrong person for information; Behrooz
takes Dina to a hospital for medical attention, but the doctor be-
comes suspicious of her gunshot wound and phones the police.
Notable: During a commercial break, Kiefer Sutherland broke character
to give a public service announcement regarding the portrayal of
Muslims and terrorists on the show. He assured the public that 24
is merely fictional and that Muslim-Americans stand firmly "beside
their fellow Americans in resisting and denouncing all forms of
terrorism." The PSA addressed a recent controversy created by the
Council on American Islamic Relations, who objected to the depict-
ion of the Araz family on the show.
