       I had imagined many end-scenarios for 24, but none included Jack cradling his dying wife, Teri, in his arms as time ran out. And how about some Emmy recognition for poor Leslie Hope, who carried the show's emotional burden (and, in the amnesia twist, its most ridiculed plot) and ends up unemployed for her efforts?
