1. To promote, through publishing, the many disparate voices in
contemporary poetry.
2. To present larger sections by single authors in order to give the reading audience a better familiarity
with a poet's work.
3. To foster a dialogue between poets on matters of craft and tradition.
General Guidelines Be sure to include name, address,
telephone number and e-mail address along with the titles of
the pieces that you are submitting and a brief bio in a cover letter.
Submissions not accompanied with a SAE and IRC will not be considered. No multiple or
simultaneous submissions. No previously published material will be considered.
Absolutely no email submissions. Reading period is year round but responses may take longer
in summer months.
Poetry Name and address should appear on all
pages. Submit up to 7 poems/15 pages. Open to style and form. Translations welcomed
if accompanied with permission of author/rights holder. Pays copies.
Prose Essays on poetics or topics of interest to poets should be submitted
in a 12 point font. Author's name and essay title should appear on all pages.
Max length 15 pages. Pays copies.
Artwork Black and white photography for cover. Must be accompanied by
Model Release Form where applicable. Pays copies.
