The story of FX starts at the beginning. Which is a good place to start. FX's reign of terror and anarchy began on the night of the TWF's Very First Pay-Per-View, called 'TWF No Way Out 2000'. In one of the most shocking and unpredictable moments in TWF History (even to this day), when NJS and Mr BIG turned on The Red Dragon. The crowd were in complete shock and booed Mr BIG and NJS to the back.
The following night of TWF Raw is War, Mr BIG explained his actions. He said that The Red Dragon was a jackass and it was in this in-ring promo that Biggie cut the very first "Mr. B, Mr. I, Mr. G" line, that has enhanced the popularity of both himself and the TWF across the world. But the main thing he said in that promo was that he was going to 're-form' FX. At which point, out come Gareth Fox, Road Dogg and NJS. F-X was re-united, and their aim was rather simple. Eliminate The Red Dragon.
Moments later, The Red Dragon appeared on stage and said that they got rid of the Red Dragon alright, but not...THE DEMON! *cue evil laugh*. The Demon was then challenged to a 2 falls to a finish match at Easter HeAT, and to this day, it is the only time in TWF History Mr BIG and The Demon met. In fact, MikeA and Mr. BIG to be perfectly honest.
In a matter of weeks, the boos began to turn into cheers, and Mr BIG became Mr. B...I...G. But, FX was to suffer some in-house destruction. Gareth Fox buggered off, and The Road Dogg left the TWF. So, Mr. BIG hired a rather decent replacement...AJ JEFFERS! Nobody could believe it, but The Era of Coolness began when AJ joined FX. Dead Cool then joined, but FX was quickly over-taken by Mr. BIG's other faction, Z-Pack.
In fact, FX disbandened all together at WrestleMania II, when AJ Jeffers and The Road Dogg (making a one-time guest appearence), teamed up in a 3-Team Lumberjack match, which ended in a no-contest. That also left a lasting legacy; the tag-team title and division has become a shambles, but FX's in-ring magic was inexplicably magic to watch, and there won't be another faction like it.
