JCVS can count as one of the TWF wrestlers who is here because of Marz. Back when the TWF needed numbers in the short-lived TWF vs. BCW vs. WWC war of September 2001, JCVS made his debut under the name 'The Ape', because of the way he moved around the ring. But he sat down with Mr. BIG and he was re-branded and modelled on his idol, the Muscles from Brussels, Jean Claude Van Damn. JCVS realised he had a lot in common with a guy called The Vamp. The two realised that they teamed well and launched an attack on the TWF Tag-Team Championships.
Their reign began with a fair ammount of conterversy, awarded the titles by Marz, because Team EV had split up and the titles were vacant. The two defied Marz's expectations when they carried the championships to one of the few respectable reigns in it's long history. They held the titles for over 120 days and then won them back, at long last, at TWF Summer Break 2003, the biggest TWF PPV of all time. The two men stood proud, and they will go down as the TWF's Greatest Tag-Team. Well, they would have...recently, The Vamp turned on JC, leaving their partnership in tatters. To make matters worse for Van Slam, The Vamp defeated him for the Hardkore Championship at TWF Easter HeAT. JC has sworn revenge, but the partnership is long since dead.
