He had recently moved back to the US from Vancouver, BC. Having lived in Vancouver most of his life, he didn't have many friends in the area and was searching for a friend, someone to show him around the area. As he works in the computer field, it was a natural choice to look there for people with similar interests.

She was tackling life as a newly single mom (of 1 year old twins!) and a returnee to college! Not that those didn't keep her busy, but she didn't have many friends and was looking to make a fresh start, to find new friends. She looked on the computer becuase that was the only venue that didn't require a babysitter!

We had both been burned by online pseudo-romances, so we decided to meet in person before there were any feelings to be dealt with. We met (in a safe public place of course! with someone knowing where, who, when, etc...) and hit it off right from the start! We've spent nearly every moment together since then and are now looking forward to spending the rest of our lives together! James has become the Daddy that the twins didn't have and together we are creating the family for which each of us searched.
