| Mary McCormick Davis was the youngest sister of my g-g-grandmotoher, Nancy McCormick Carmichael. Just as Nancy and her brother, John C. McCormick, had done, Mary and her husband, William, migrated to and settled in Jefferson County, MS. One of Mary's granddaughters, Hettie Davis, married Fleet Currie in Union Church. The Currie Family gathered for a reunion in Union Church in April, 2004. These are some photos Drake, one of Hettie's descendants, shared with me, taken at the Currie reunion. |
