My name is Marlee and my
birthdate is May 24th, a Gemini.
But everybody calls me Twink!
My chat handle is "Twink55" and I use
"Lola Bunny" pictures for the chat room!
Can't chat without my bunny!
I am a frequent visitor to Fifty's Chat
where I have made many friends
since early November, 1996.
See my "Friendship Page" and visit all of my friends!
We live in the Northern Greater Cincinnati area
in Ohio and have lived here all of our lives.
I am a retired journalist and still write at home.
I have worked for the Cincinnati Enquirer, the
Cincinnati Post, and as an editor for our
local weekly newspaper for many years.
I like to chart my own patterns
for crocheted afghans and sweaters,
especially in Native American design.
Many of these patterns are on my
needlework page, in this web site.
And I love my computer! I create our greeting
cards and have many programs for designing them.
I love to send my designs to internet friends
and have sent them around the world.
I have lived in our community all of
my life, along with my parents, grandparents
and great-grandparents before me.
And we still live on part of the property
where Great-Grandfather Gorman lived when
he was a founding father of our community.
Our grandchildren are sixth generation here.
I have been working in genealogy for the
past 45 years. I now use a program called
"Family Ties" in my computer and it is so
much easier to keep track of our family tree.
I belong to our local historical society and
helped there with writing about the past and
outstanding people who lived in our community.
I am an ordained elder in my worship place
served as deacon; membership secretary; and
as acolyte director for 10 years. I have
also created and maintain a website for our
church, changing it with the Christian seasons.
I love hot air balloons, rainbows, prime rib,
watermelon, sandy beaches, flying, a good movie,
a good novel, and parasailing......
Mr. Twink is retired from our police department,

He is also active in Fraternal Order of Police, where
he is currently serving on the executive board. He is
also a member of the Hamilton County Police Association.
He has a bass boat, likes to go fishing,
and loves hamburger sandwiches!
We have been married 47 years.
We have 5 children and 10 grandchildren.
