Built in 1987, the Majestic victorian fixtures and antique wronght-iron, oak decking add to her majesty and charm. She is almost the length of a football field and holds up to 1,000 passengers for cruises. ![]() ![]() The Mississippi Queen Port City: New Orleans, Louisiana With seven sparkling white decks, a golden-piped calliope and a giant red paddle ruffling the waters below, the majestic Mississippi Queen was commissioned in 1976 and is modeled after traditional Mississippi River steamboat design. ![]() ![]() The P. A. Denny Port City: Charleston, West Virginia West Virginia's most famous authentic sternwheeler was christened the Scott and proudly served the U. S. Corps of Engineers Louisville District for 24 years. When Charleston riverboat man Pete Denny passed away, his longtime friend, Captain L. Hamilton bought the riverboat and gave it the new name. ![]() ![]() The Spirit of Cincinnati Port City: Cincinnati, Ohio Propelled by a sternwheel, this excursion boat was originally named the Belle Of The Lakes and designed as an open air sight-seeing boat with only one deck. In 1983, a complete cabin super-structure, including a second deck, was built. The Spirit Of Cincinnati travels the Ohio River carrying passengers past one of America's most beautiful inland river cities. ![]() ![]() The General Jackson Port City: Nashville, Tennessee Based on the Grand Ole Opry, The General Jackson is known as "the grandest showboat of them all" with her large Victorian Theater on the main deck. Meals and musical performances are mixed with humor during the three trips a day during Tall Stacks. ![]() ![]() The River Queen Port City: Covington, Kentucky Her fifth appearance at Tall Stacks, one of the original original 16 boats in 1988, The River Queen is comfortable in her romantic riverboat charm. ![]() ![]() The Spirit Of Jefferson Port City: Louisville, Kentucky Built in 1963, with all the charm of an old time riverboat, she is being welcomed for the third time to Tall Stacks. She and the The Belle Of Louisville have the same owners. ![]() ![]() The Keystone Belle Port City: Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania Built in Cincinnati by Tucker Marine, she appeared as the Queen Of Hearts in Tall Stacks in 1992 and 1995. She has three decks accented with brass and lace and sets the standard for hospitility and sumptuous food.
