The Queers - Move Back Home  [cd]
Lookout! Records 1995
It's The Queers again.  Just as good as ever.  There are a couple of ballads and a song that sounds an awful lot like the Beach Boys (what do you expect, they recorded it first).  Their sick sense of humor blended with sappy love songs just works, and I don't like sappy love songs.  They are one of the few bands that can sound so much like the Ramones, yet different and make it work.  I still think they are well worth your time and money, even if they have been around for a while.  Why quit when you're good?  Especially if you are having fun, as they appear to be.  Go get this.  ©1995 Krusty
The Queers - A Day Late And A Dollar Short  [cd]
Lookout! Records 1996
A punk rock walk down memory lane.  If you are missing any of the early Queers stuff, I highly suggest this.  It is a semi-chronological look back at their career.  Highlighting only the best of the best.  If you don't have any of their early stuff, this is a good way to check it out.  ©1996 Krusty
The Queers - Don't Back Down - [cd]
Lookout! Records 1996
Poppy, just as you might expect.  Female vocals on the last track?  I think it 's a first for the Queers.  If you like the Queers, you can't go wrong.  Watch out for the lyrics.  If you don't know who Dr. Frank and Ben Weasel are, you might miss out on some great jokes.  Life is good, and so is this album.  ©1996 Krusty
Quincy Punx - Stuck On Stupid  [10"]
Recess Records 1996
Well, this is it.  The Quincy Punx again.  It's kind of nice to hear Dave using his voice in more than one way.  It was starting to get a little monotonous.  The band seems to be growing and expanding their repertoire as well.  I'm not too sure about an instrumental, but I guess most punk bands try to do at least one during their career.  They've come a long way since their first 7".  Maybe too far.  Try it, you might like it.  ©1996 Krusty
