It is New Year's Eve and you have to decide what you want the first thing that you do in the new year to be. For me, it was not a difficult decision. I cannot think of any better way to begin a new year than to watch Bill Lindsey and crew kill a few people. Just as I most likely will resolve to kill my old personal demons and begin anew in the morning. Impaler does not disappoint, as is their standard. They run through a set of blistering songs like never before. There are killings, there are pyros, heck Bill even spits fire. There was a cover of the Rolling Stones 'Bitch'. And in a wonderful tribute to this year's loss of Joey Ramone, or was it in honor of The Ramones being elected to the Rock and Roll Hall Of Fame, Impaler reminded us that we all need a little 'Psycho Therapy'. ©2001 Krusty |
