| Who am I? If a stranger were to look at me in a crowd, he would see a tan girl of seventeen with brown hair and brown eyes. He would see a girl of average height, okay, maybe a little shorter than average, and average weight. Nothing particularly interesting. But that is not who I am. My name is Tamra. But that is not who I am. These are all distinctions that were not options for me. What makes up who I am are my interests, talents, quirks, and my personality. That is who I am. And that is who I am going to describe to you. To start with surface characteristics and interests, I love music, drama, dancing, and the fine arts in general. The stereotypical girl. I love to ride a horse and to cuddle a kitten. Then on the flip side, you have someone who fell in love with sailing, rode a steer, and ever so gracefully tripped over several chairs and other objects that should not have been in the center of the room. Because of home schooling, my friends tell me that I am still naïve and child-like. Going a little deeper… You’ll find a girl who is afraid that she won’t be able to live up to everything that everyone believes she is. You’ll find fears… Of not finding a place in the world. Of not making a difference to anyone. Of those she loves not ever knowing how much she loved them. But really, when you go as deep as you can get… None of this really defines me.
