The WMT-TwinPaths of Wicca
Welcome

This is another new creation in order to have a place to put all the music, pictures, files and other items that are now overflowing our Yahoo Group Site.

WMT-TwinPaths was created by David Sands . It all started with his essay on What is Paganism, followed by Intro to Wicca, followed by a simple free on-line course, which of course meant we needed WMT-TwinPaths Yahoo Group for the seekers to discuss what they were doing and learning and how they were progressing. Followed by several groups around the world. Then in 2004 we started a geocities web site to hold extra files and photo's, it's full, so now we have this website.
Which I hope will be just as wonderful as all the rest.

On last years web site we shared many Grimoires, however we ran out of space before we could finish. So here are the final three. Hope it satisfies your curiosity about what old Grimoires were all about, and what makes them different from A Book Of Shadows.

The SomerCamps and Mini Camps are on special photo pages to allow for commentary and a little fun. The rest of the photos are in our geocities photo albums for easy access and to take advange of the extra 30 mg of photo space that geocities allows.

And of course I wasn't the only one taking photo's. These are from Lin.

Every year in Fen Ditton our HP has a wonderful May Pole celebration for the children.

Lin's special project is to take a photo of the same area each mother to document the changes thru the year. If anyone else would like to do this just let us know and we'll show you how.

One of the hardest parts about working solitary is not actually knowing what the chants sound like.
They take up a lot of space, so we've decided to add one per website:

Earth is My Body - Download this chant

I'd been trying to get a copy of Dion Fortune's book THE SECRETS OF DR TAVERNER for ages and ages. When I found it, it was just too expensive. Now it's available in pdf format absolutely free. Patience was the key I suppose.

Our founder and High Priest has always said that we study the Chakra system because he believes that the Ancient Britons must have had a system similiar to this that has been lost. This is entirely possible as the Golden Dawn did indeed have a similar system, and Israel Regardie writes about one in this article based on the Jewish mystical system of the Qabala. The Art of True Healing, by Israel Regardie

I'm sure you've all heard about Cornelius Agrippa. A Christian Occultist with a very popular grimoir that just goes to show how much things have changed in the last 5 or 6 hundred years or so.
Anyway, if you want a taste of his material, we have a pdf on Geomancy.

Another favorite study of our High Priest is John Dee. These are some of his most popular works:

The Hierogyphic Monad

Mysteriorum Primus or The Mysteries part 1.

Notes on The Mysteries part 1.

Mysteriorum Secundus or The Mysteries part 2.

Mysteriorum Tertius or The Mysteries part 3.

For those who don't know who Dr John Dee is:
About Dr. John Dee

1. Visionary of the British Empire; coined the word Brittannia and developed a plan for the British Navy.

2. The first to apply Euclidean geometry to navigation; built the instruments to apply Euclid; trained the first great navigators; developed the maps; charted the Northeast and Northwest Passages.

3. An angel conjuror with his sidekick Kelley; the angels told him what Britain would have in their eventual empire; used an obsidian show stone which came from the Aztecs/Mayans and rests in the British Museum along with his conjuring table which contains the Enochian Alphabet he used as angel language.

4. Philosopher to Queen Elizabeth; did her horoscope; determined her coronation date astrologically; she came to visit him on her horse.

5. Founder of the Rosicrucian Order, the protestant response to the Jesuits.

6. An alchemist; hermeticist, cabalist, adept in esoteric and occcult lore.

7. Translator of Euclid and wrote the famous Mathematical Preface, mapping mathematical studies for the future, a kind of system of the sciences based on math.

8. Put a hex on the Spanish Armada which is why there was bad weather and England won.

9. Commissioned by Elizabeth to establish the legal foundation for colonizing North America; went back to Madoc, a Welsh Prince who took a group over to New England in the middle ages and established the first colony, and intermarried with the Indians, but with little or no historical trace but for the legend.

10. Instrumental in theatre arts and architecture.

11. Shakespeare depicted him as Prospero, and King Lear.

12. Sold the Voynich Manuscript, the most mysterious, a cipher as yet to be deciphered--"the Everest of cipher studies"--to the Holy Roman Emperor--Rudolph II--for a lot of gold. Resides at Yale in the Beineke Library. Probably an herbal and an almanac by Anthony Askham.

13. Had the greatest library in England over 4,000 books.
