Sign 1:
On May 2, 2000 the day before the twins 4 month angel day, I went to go see my *Mom* (actually a great woman who has been very much like a mom to me) at work. She worked at a truck stop just a few miles from my home. While there I decided to play a couple of crane games, the game where you have to line the crane up with the toy, or whatever in order to pick it up and win. I had won quite a few stuffed animals that night. Then I decided to try the hardest crane game they have. This one has a magnet in it that you have to line up exactly right in order for it to drop into a circular hole and connect with a metal plate then pick up the prize. It's very hard to do as you can imagine. On this night, I dropped in my 2 quarters, and proceeded to move the crane. I wasn't really even paying that much attention as I was talking to my *Mom* at the time as well. I hit the drop button and watched as the crane dropped right into the hole on a case containing a watch. *Mom* and I were laughing, we were both really surprised. The watch dropped out. I turned the case over, and that's when I noticed it had the date it was maufactured. The date on the back said January 2000. I couldn't believe it!! That was the month I lost the twins. It had to be more than a coincidence. A few days later we found out that that watch was the only one in the machine that was dated for January of that year. I have kept that watch in it's case and have never worn it. I don't know if I ever will wear it. I love to just sit and look at it. It brings me a kind of peace to see it.
Sign 2:
Shortly after reading a poem about pennies being angel kisses (Poem found on my poems page) I started finding pennines, nothing new right? Well every time I find one penny within minutes I find another. I always find them in pairs now. I know this doesn't seem like much of a sign to some, but to me it is. To me it's a sign that the girls are together and they are both looking in on me.
