Ep# 101
Ethan calls Gwen from the Crane family cabin, where he is preparing a romantic getaway for the two of them. Ethan tells Gwen about a major storm moving in and hopes she can get to the cabin in time. An excited Gwen predicts Ethan will propose to her. Meanwhile, Theresa is thrilled when Julian asks her to take some papers up to the cabin for Ethan to sign. Theresa plans to use this opportunity to win Ethan's love. Fearing she may have killed Luis' father all those years ago, Sheridan prepares to pilot her jet to New Mexico, where she hopes to find Martin Fitzgerald alive and well. Just as she's about to take off, Luis arrives and blasts her for interfering with a family matter. When Sheridan refuses to abort her plans, Luis becomes suspicious as to why she is so interested in a man she has never met. Luis decides to tag along, whether Sheridan likes it or not. Orville is near death after becoming the victim of a hit-and-run. Chad fears Orville will die before revealing the secret surrounding his past. Simone suspects the driver purposely hit Orville to keep the secret hidden. At the same time, Eve acts suspiciously when she shows up for work. Eve is shocked when Orville is brought in to the hospital. After so many years, you come back into my life, she whispers. Orville regains consciousness and recognizes Eve. Eve tries to keep Orville quiet, but an observant Chad suspects a connection between the two. Once she and Orville are alone, Eve prepares a hypodermic needle. Orville panics and begs her not to kill him. He promises "not to tell."

Luis is suspicious when he hears Sheridan murmur Martin's name in her sleep. Sheridan doesn't let on that she's worried she killed his father. As Sheridan begins to land the jet, Luis prepares himself to confront his father. Julian is surprised when Ivy actually agrees that Ethan is just like his father. Julian makes sexual advances towards his wife, but Ivy shoots him down. Ivy is ecstatic when Gwen tells her she thinks Ethan is ready to propose. Julian dampens Ivy's spirits by saying Ethan is probably having a fling with Theresa. At the Crane cabin, Theresa assumes the romantic setup is for her. Mistaking Theresa for Gwen, a naked Ethan sneaks up on Theresa and kisses her passionately. Ethan is shocked when he finally realizes he's about to make love to Theresa! An embarrassed Ethan rushes out of the bedroom, leaving behind an exhilarated, but confused Theresa. Theresa is stunned when Ethan demands to know what she's doing at the cabin, and she finally realizes he mistook her for Gwen. Will Theresa be able to explain herself without revealing her feelings for Ethan? The Bennett family, Reese, Charity, and Miguel begin work on the school pageant. Kay is confident she will be cast as the lead, opposite Miguel. Meanwhile, Tabitha plots to use the play to get rid of Charity. Tabitha changes the cast list and the ending of the story so that Charity will have to play a role in which she is burned at the stake. However, Tabitha plans to make sure the fire is real, not just a special effect. Grace almost catches Timmy tampering with the script.

In New Mexico, Luis and Sheridan pay a visit to the workplace of the man who has been using Martin's social security number. They are disappointed to find the place closed, but Luis notices a potential link to his father. Luis and Sheridan decide to spend the night in town so they can return to the workplace in the morning. Ivy shows up at the high school and makes a beeline for Sam. Pilar warns Ivy to leave, but Ivy can't bring herself to stay away from her old flame. Sam advises Ivy to forget the past. Jessica and Miguel congratulate Charity on winning the lead role in the school pageant, while Kay pouts. Charity has second thoughts about playing the lead when she learns she's supposed to be burned at the stake. Kay hopes Charity will drop out, leaving her with plenty of rehearsal time with Miguel. Tabitha is dismayed by Charity's decision, but refuses to give up. Tabitha tries to guilt Charity into staying in the play. Ethan panics when he sees Theresa on the phone with Gwen. Before Gwen realizes she is talking to Theresa, Ethan snatches the phone away. Ethan explains to Theresa how he doesn't want Gwen to know she is at the cabin because Gwen will just be upset. Theresa takes heart in the fact that Ethan kissed her so passionately. He had to have known she wasn't Gwen, she concludes. Ethan scrambles to get Theresa out of the cabin before Gwen arrives

While checking into a hotel, Luis and Sheridan learn of another Fitzgerald who is also staying there. They track the man down to the hotel bar, and an angry Luis confronts him. Sheridan is relieved when she thinks they have found Martin, but the flustered man denies knowing Luis. Meanwhile, Julian is nervous when he learns Luis and Sheridan are missing and may have gone to New Mexico. At the dress rehearsal for the school pageant, Kay acts out setting Charity on fire while she is tied to a stake. Unbeknownst to everyone, Tabitha attempts to start a real fire from under the stage. Before Tabitha has a chance to do so, Charity freaks out over having to pretend to be in a fire. Miguel comforts Charity. Jessica taunts Kay by noting how Miguel and Charity are almost a couple again. A desperate Kay takes another stab at separating Miguel and Charity. Tabitha decides to take matters into her own hands to get Charity back in the play. Ivy follows Sam into a school storage room and asks him if he still loves her. Sam bluntly tells Ivy he feels nothing for her. He only loves Grace. Ivy tearfully tells Sam she regrets not choosing a life with him. Ivy is forced to hide when Grace walks in. Sam is trapped when Grace tells him she wants to make love in the storage room. Ethan is anxious when he realizes he can't get rid of Theresa before Gwen arrives. Theresa is secretly happy. She hopes Gwen will dump Ethan when she finds the two of them together. Gwen calls again and tells Ethan the snowstorm is pretty bad. A guilt-ridden Ethan tells Gwen to turn around and go home so she won't find Theresa with him.

Luis and Sheridan are put in an awkward position when the hotel manager assumes they are a couple. In their separate rooms, Luis and Sheridan open what they think is a closet, but is really an adjacent door. They are stunned to find themselves starring at each other wearing only towels. Sheridan and Luis attempt to put their differences aside. They realize their questions about Martin Fitzgerald will get answered tomorrow, one way or another. No one notices the "fake" fire is a little more real than it should be while Charity is tied to a stake. Miguel finally notices the fire is real and frantically attempts to put it out. At the same time, Tabitha does her best to increase the fire. Miguel has problems untying Charity, who passes out from all the smoke. Miguel finally gets Charity to safety, but Charity appears to be dead. Gwen calls Ethan to say the storm is letting up, so she may be able to make it to the cabin after all. Ethan nervously encourages her to head home. Gwen agrees to turn around, but after she hangs up with him, she decides to wait out the snowstorm. Theresa and Ethan confide in one another and share some playful moments. When the power goes out in the cabin, Ethan says he and Theresa will have to sleep in front of the fire in order to keep warm. Convinced fate is on her side, Theresa plans to tell Ethan of her love for him.

Responding to Sheridan's screams, Luis breaks into her hotel room and finds her in the midst of a nightmare. He's curious when she says it's time she told what happened when she was a little girl. In a sleep-like trance, Sheridan almost confesses to killing Luis' father. However, Sheridan comes to her full senses before revealing too much. She contemplates telling Luis the truth, but instead, opts for sneaking out to search for Martin alone. Simone and Whitney are startled by Eve's vehement reactions concerning Orville and Chad. Orville begins to regain consciousness. Eve is put on the spot when Orville calls out her name in front of her daughters and Chad. Kay frets as Charity remembers more of her past with Miguel. Simone accuses Kay of setting the fire, but Kay is able to honestly say she had nothing to do with it. Meanwhile, the real culprit, Tabitha, faces off against the little girl. The little girl teaches Tabitha a lesson by lifting her off the ground with rays of light. Timmy cowers in terror as the little girl warns Tabitha to stop her evil ways. At the same time, Sam is concerned when he realizes the fire started below the stage and was possibly set on purpose. He becomes suspicious of Tabitha. Theresa and Ethan share another close encounter at the cabin. This time, Ethan is also affected by their contact. Theresa and Ethan realize they have a lot in common since Pilar was like a second mother to Ethan. The two later fall asleep in front of the fire. In his sleep, Ethan puts his arm around Theresa. At that moment, Gwen walks up to the cabin door, hoping to surprise Ethan. Is Gwen in for a surprise of her own?
