career.  She uses her art as an escape from life's realities by twisting them into her own realities.  That's where the title of her gallery comes from.  Marcela is a self-taught artist but recently she attained an associates degree with an emphasis in Fine Arts in 2004. Art surrounds her life, whether it's working on commissions, sketching ideas, or manifesting her thoughts into some sort of creation.  She is inspired by other artists (such as Brom, Vladimir Kush, and Jhonen Vasquez),  her life and experiences, and, simply, her environment. Marcela is constantly striving to bring her art to a new level while maintaining her unique style. She dreams of expanding her art past new horizons, traveling with her husband, and exploring this crazy world until she settles down to create the greatest art of all....a family.
When Marcela had much free-time in the early years of highschool, her creativity ran amuck inside her room, as illustrated in the pictures above!
