| TwistedSpine.com Productions is the brainchild of Ritch Yarber, Jim Musarra, and Tim Mlckovsky. Three regular guys that think Big Time entertainment can be made on a shoe string budget. Ritch Yarber says "There definitely is a place in the film market for our product. Our films hinge on the idea that the customers want entertainment first and foremost beyond all else. Pioneers like David "The Rock" Nelson have already blazed the trail for these films. We are just fine tuning what he and others have already done." |
| Ritch Yarber has been involved in many forms of creature expression over the past 15 years. For ten years he was a member of the acting troupe "The Legion of Terror" before leaving to become a founding member of another acting group. "The Nightmare Society" Both groups promote the art of acting and make-up. He served as Editor and Chief of "The Legion of Terror Magazine". He has authored his own hand book, "Make-up Techniques" as well as contributing articles to "Scary Monster Magazine" and the official Frightvision Website. As an actor, Ritch has appeared in "Beyond Recognition", a short film that he also wrote and directed. It was entered in the Cinemagic ISUA short film competition. He has appeared in his friend David "The Rock" Nelson's films in different roles and is scheduled to take part in the non-titled horror movie currently in production by another group. |
| Jim Musarra put in many hours portraying different characters in his friends' homeproductions before hooking up with Yarber and Mlckovsky to pursue a mutual love for making movies. Although Jim mainly works in front of the camera, he also has a talent for costuming which helps not only with the portrayal of his character but energizes the entire cast. He also performs all his own stunt work refusing to compromise his characterization for safety sake. A true professional through and through. |
| Tim Mlckovsky is the everything man for the group. Be it carrying equipment, pitching in behind the camera or being the villain in a scene, Tim's always ready, willing and able. More often than not, Tim is the one under the hot, heavy make-up when the script calls for an imposing monster to make the scene. |
| The motto for TwistedSpine.com is "small films for a small planet". We don't make art films, we make films people WANT to see!!"Transyvania Police: Monster Squad" is on schedule to be released in Spring 2001.
