Description: When Marcus and Chronepsis transform into their Aeon state, Marcus rises to an almost unthinkable height. His hands become large claws, each finger holding an individual razor sharp nail, and his feet grow reptilian like, large nails extending from each individual toe, spurs jutting out just below his calf muscles. His body becomes plated with black and purple scales from head to toe, the scales on his chest and abdomen being the only scales not of these colors, but instead a creamy yellow. His head transforms into that of a Bahamut, rows and rows of ivory white sharp teeth aligning his mouth, and his eyes becoming just glowing orbs of light purple. Spikes align themselves down his spine, all the way down to the very tip of his six-foot long tail, starting large at the top, and getting smaller and smaller towards the bottom. His body expands with layer upon layer of muscle tissue. When the transformation is complete, he looks like a smaller version of a Bahamut, however the only thing lacking from his Aeon form is the pair of majestic wings that all Bahamuts possess upon their backs.

Personality: Chronepsis is a rather honest and blunt being. He is usually quiet in the back of Marcus’ head unless he finds something he can state his opinion on, being occasionally very opinionated to the things Marcus does. He states what is on his mind and whatever may be on it, and when he wants to. Being a former being of power that only answered to the authority of the gods themselves, Chronepsis cares little of how what he says and how it affects Marcus, or those around him. Like his host, Chronepsis is very confident in himself and in the abilities he bestows upon his Marcus. He believes that Marcus should answer to no one, and discourages him in doing so. With his power bestowed upon the young fighter, Chronepsis believes that the youth can do anything.

Although he may sometimes come off as an egotistical, opinionated, overly confident ass, Chronepsis does hold a certain care for his host. A care that has developed because of the bond the two have been seemingly building… slowly… but building nonetheless.

When it comes to Tulay, Chronepsis tends to get drastic and hasty. He wants nothing more than to destroy his arch-nemesis and finish his duties, putting an end to the ‘Hunt’, and enabling him to return to the celestial heavens.

Special Abilities

"Ryuujin Kasei" (Dragon Transformation):
Chronepsis, being rather the soul of a former demi-god Bahamut is not an Aeon, but counts as one. In being that he has possessed Marcus’ soul and body, he has bestowed upon Marcus the ability to transform into a bipedal dragon hybrid that resembles that of a Bahamut, thus giving Marcus the power to transform into an Aeon. However, this ability is not used freely, and is usually only triggered when Chronepsis feels Marcus’ life is in danger… Marcus’ life being his own as well. When in this state Marcus gains the power like any Aeon, and his level are times by 1.5 of his normal level.

Elemental Focus: "Non-Elemental”:
Chronepsis, as does any Aeon, bestows upon Marcus his chosen element, that element being Non-Elemental… The stages Marcus progresses through are as follows- Protect/Shell, Meltdown, and then Flare.

History: Chronepsis was once the demi-god of Fate, Death, and Judgment, now he is a mere shadow of his former self- A soul that which possesses a body approximately every century or so.

Once upon a time in history, he was worshiped among humans, they, fearing if proper worshipping did not take place in his honor, he would bestow upon them terrible fates. In addition, once it came time for them to transcend into the afterlife, he would judge them unworthy, and send them into the depths of hell.

When Tulay had decided to revolt against the gods and do as he pleased, thus breaking the balance within the Celestial Order that is above all beings, Chronepsis was chosen to bring judgment upon the unruly god. It is not known to Chronepsis why Tulay wished to cause chaos upon the planet he helped to maintain balance, but it was known that Tulay had to be stopped before the Celestial Order became a cataclysm, resulting in chaos and destruction in the Celestial Heavens, and on the planet as well. On their first meeting, Chronepsis was easily able to dispose of the god, and trap him in a confinement built for the very purpose of his imprisonment by the gods themselves… even though the gods built it, nothing is ever perfect.

Thus, the tradition of the ‘Hunt’ began, and every hundred or so years, Tulay would escape his confinement and walk the mortal realms once again. Eventually Chronepsis would take notice and the ‘Hunt’ would begin, and would not end until Chronepsis had defeated Tulay and send him into the depths of hell where his confinement was.

This tradition continued for millennia’s, until one specific hunt… where Tulay had actually won... The two had been able to destroy each others’ material bodies in the fight long to be remembered as one of the most brilliant displays of power ever set eyes on by the gods. The reason why Tulay is considered as to be the victor of the battle was because he had succeeded in doing what Chronepsis tried to prevent, bringing chaos and destruction to a once advanced and civilized people now known simply as the “Tribes”. Chronepsis will never forgive himself for letting the unfortunate fate befall his most worshipping people, and will never forgive Tulay for sending them back into the dark ages…

For centuries, the two had to possess a chosen being, in order for them to walk the material plane, and every century or so Chronepsis would find a being worthy enough of his blessings, and worthy enough to perform the duty bestowed upon him by the gods, thus the serving the gods themselves.

Now Tulay has unleashed himself again and walks the planet, possessing an unfortunate being, ready to cause chaos at any moment. Chronepsis, in his undying endeavor to destroy Tulay once and for all, has possessed a being he has deemed worthy enough to aid him in his quest… This being, a young man by the name of Marcus Alvarez.
