Who are you?
Ok, so you might be thinking, "Well, I'm so-and-so." Ok...who's that? I mean, really think about who you are. Are you the popular cheerleader? What about the all-star basketball player? And how about the computer nerd? Or the band geek? Maybe that's you. You can't forget the goths, jocks, punks, skaters, rejects, and geeks. They exist, too. So who are you? One of them? Or maybe you're like me:
A little bit of everything.
I've spent most of my life being who everybody else wanted me to be. Weather it be the girl next door, or the tomboy who likes to play in the mud. So this year, I really took notice as to who I was, and what I wanted to be. The answer?
I'm still trying to figure that one out.
I do know, however, that whatever I am, I'm happy with it. I'm not sure which category I fit into to, but whichever one it is, I'm glad it's the one I'm in. I can honestly say I've had the best of both worlds. I went from being the star basketball player and one of the most popular girls at my private school, to the lonely, quiet, shy girl who has no friends at the new public school. And thinking back on it...I didn't like either one of them.
I like who I am now. That's the quiet, loud, shy, outgoing, sarcastic, funny, pretty, ugly,, good, bad girl that I am. I'm a prep, goth, nerd, geek, punk, skater that gets a long with pretty much everybody.
