| I believe the vision for what you've found here at The Way started long before I was ever even aware of exactly what God has placed in my hands to share. I can remember at the age of 12 having a sense that somehow God would use me to do His work although I must admit my ideas were...well, let's just say, they were a bit off the mark. I think I expected to one day be the next Amy Grant or something. How funny that seems to me now! Even months before this site was born, I didn't invision this exactly. I couldn't have imagined that it would ultimately be the internet that would be the vessel. I had no plans on setting up a site or setting up a community. I just didn't really see it coming but I remained in prayer waiting and watching to see what it was that the Lord was going to bring me to. |
| Two major things happened in my life over the year of 2002 that not only tested my faith but brought me to a stronger place in my walk with the Lord and it was upon the heels of these situations that God began to slowly reveal to me where He was |
| leading. I was suprised. I remember a day as I sat on the phone with a friend of mine and she said to me, "Just a few months ago, you said you had no plans on doing any of this and suddenly now here you are doing it." That statement couldn't have been more true. I've always had the desire to share Jesus. That has never changed but what I've come to see in my own life over the last 9 months is a sudden increase and urgency like I've never known before. It's been an incredible path to be on wanting so deeply and having such an intense desire to just simply share with anyone who will listen. God has been so good! My only prayer and desire as the head Administrator and Creator of this site and community is simply to be a vessel for the work and love of God. That He might reach out and change lives. It humbles me beyond words to think that He'd want to use me but isn't that one of the most sweetest aspects of our Father? He's got a plan for us all and His love extends to even the lonliest soul! Maybe you don't know why or how you found this place. Maybe you don't know why you are here but I know deep in my heart that God knows! He's got a plan for you, all you have to do is listen to Him! Along the way, I've encountered some of the most special folks I've ever known and I am pleased to share that one of them is co-Administrator with me. She's just about the best partner in all of this that I could have and she's been an incredible blessing and friend! Her name is Mary! Between the two of us, we've been working together to produce what God is placing on our hearts. Won't you join us on this road? I don't exactly know what we'll encounter on the way but I sure do know where we'll end up and the destination couldn't be sweeter! Praise God!
