The angel of the Lord came and received my brother David Underwood home
to be with Jesus Christ our Lord and God the Father forevermore . |

| David left behind a wonderful testimony of God's love for all of us . |
|
|
|
|
| Even in the last days of his life here on earth, he was still praising the Father and speaking of God's love . |
|
|
|
His battle with cancer was fought and won with great courage and in the strength of God .
We prayed for God's best for our brother and he received from the Father his best . Dave was taken home to be
with the Lord Jesus Christ his Savior , to forevermore be alive with him . |
|
|
Death did not touch him , death for the believer died on the cross when the Savior Jesus Christ freely gave his life
in our stead . |
|
|
David's life was a testimony of his faith and his witness of God's love and forgiveness was left as a light to follow ,
even in what should have been his darkest hour the light of God shown brightly around him . |
|
|
As a child of God and a chosen servant, his life here was blessed by the Father , with a faithful servant of God
Alta his loving and devoted wife of 39 years , a son and a daughter, and four grandchildren that love him dearly . |
|
|
| Many, many friends that speak highly of him and his walk with God . |
|
|
Dave's life was his testimony his works are recorded in the book of life, his reward is eternal life, and forevermore
to be with the Father . |
|
|
As his sister my life was enriched by his faith in God, his light I did follow to find my Savior Jesus Christ , not only I,
but many others he did shine the light of truth . In the last days of Dave's life he wrote... "HANDS " ... |
