| Father God, creator of both heaven and earth, I, even I thy child am of thy creation . |
| Birthed into the earthy, a life filled with strive and confusion, lost was I and away |
| from thee my Father . |
| Unknowingly I wandered about, not even sinless was I born . |
| My heart's condition was unbeknown, my soul was a great mystery to me . |
| Crept in the evil one, quietly he invaded my life, my earthy vessel . |
| His seed of deceit and lies he implanted to deceive my heart and mind . |
| The darkness of his evil did take captive my mind, the evil one was my jailor . |
| Led about was I in a lightless land filled with wickedness and danger . |
| Death would overtake my soul, damnation was the pathway he led me to walk upon . |
| Lost in a maze of darkness, unending was the suffering, stolen from my eye was sight. |
| Lost from thee was I my Father God, but from thy all seeing eye, I was not lost . |
| Witnessed from above thy love did overtake me, thy holy light did break through |
| the darkness of my heart and soul . |
| From the jailor's cell set free was I, enlightened was my mind, my heart cold and lifeless was reborn |
| in the warmth of thy love . |
| Touched by thy love through the Holy Spirit, revealed unto my spirit and soul the decietfulness of my enemy . |
| Thy life now abounding, in thy abundance now am I recreated . |
| Restored to thy love once again am I thy child, repentant and forgiven . |
| Complete am I in thee my Lord God , thy Son Jesus and thy pathway upon now do i follow . |
| The darkness has fled, thy holy light now does brightly shine, aglow is the pathway |
| ye have set before my eye . |
| Live do I only to love thee my Father God, to be of service and to lead as I am led . |
| Safely is my heart entrusted unto thy heart my Lord . |
