No turmoil, distress or any
disease can rest within
They linger but for a moment,
for peace lives within .
Like rays of sunshine
and rays of radiant beams
Of Peace ! light from within
Laughter, peace and joy
Comes from within .
Peace, serenity, calmness
no mighty rushing winds
No storms, no hate, no worry
No rage
only peace, perfect peace
Rest within .
But most of the time
We seem to be alone .
When to Noah, God gave
His plan for the ark
Noah must have felt alone
When in caves David lived
Hiding, running and fleeing
David must have felt alone .
When on the cross Jesus hang
hurting, bleeding and dying
Jesus must have felt alone .
When we feel lonely, lost
And heartsick and discouraged .
We only have To remember
No matter what We are never alone
For God is with us,
Always
Forever
and
For Evermore
