B R O K E N   A M   I

Holy Father in the quietness of my spirit do I listen to hear thy sound.

Thy voice as soft as a whisper does speak to my heart .

Tenderly my footstep is corrected, lovingly am I instructed to follow .

Left behind is every thought, and every deed,   forgiven of thee  my Lord God and cast off and forgotten.

Washed in thy royal blood, into thy sea of forgetfulness buried

from thy memory are the sins of my repentant heart .

My Lord higher than my thoughts can take me, greater than my mind can think,  above all else do I exalt thee .

My spirit does sing thy praises, both day and night my heart does long to touch thy heart .

Broken am I O' God, my heart weeping and torn now mended only by thy love and forgiveness .

Recreated am I to be of use unto thee, a vessel created by thy loving hand .

Shaped and formed by thy Holy Spirit, schooled by the Spirit of Truth

with thy knowledge and understanding .

Prayerfully do I seek to become all that I can be in thee .

Thy instrument useful and to fulfill thy great purpose .

Entrusted unto thee is my spirit and soul, ever faithful ye are my Lord .

Guarded against the invasion of evil, fortressed am I by thy  great wall of protection .

Thy precious shed blood does cover and protect against all disease and affliction .

Thy wisdom O' Holy One do I seek, guidance into all thy truths, increase my learning I pray to be filled with thy knowledge,

enlighten my heart to be filled with thy word .

Blessed of thee am I my Lord, ye Holy Lamb of God are my heart's delight .

Life in thee now and forevermore, alive in thee am I .
